Education and Training

You are here

Education and training around the topics of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual misconduct are integral to Lehigh University's commitment to eradicating such conduct on our campus and fostering a diverse and inclusive community.  The Equal Opportunity Compliance Coordinator oversees education and training on these topics and often collaborates with other University offices to provide instructive programs aimed at identifying such conduct and encouraging reporting of such behavior.

Educational programming and training are typically provided through either in-person or online sessions.

In-Person Programs/Trainings

The Equal Opportunity Compliance Coordinator routinely provides in-person educational programming and training to members of the University community regarding these topics generally, as well as specifically on the University's policies and procedures regarding matters of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and/or sexual misconduct.  Depending on the requested programming, the Equal Opportunity Compliance Coordinator may collaborate and present with other University offices.  If you would like to schedule an in-person session or training, click here.

Online Training

All faculty, staff, and students are required to complete certain training programs each academic year.  These training programs may be revised year to year based on various factors, including changes to applicable laws or policies, change in course content, etc.  Faculty, staff, and students will be notified regarding the required programs and the deadline for completion of each program.  Failure to complete the required programs could result in disciplinary action, a delay in registration for classes and other action.
